Custer's Conqueror is the earliest written data on Crazy Horse and the Oglala and Lakota. Author William Bordeaux lived with the participants of the many events that shaped Lakota history and the history of the American West. These stories are the best non-fiction information available. If you are looking for the real truth, it doesn't get any better than Custer's Conqueror.
Custer’s Conqueror has always been considered a family treasure. It was one of my mother-in-law’s prized possessions. Once I finally reviewed this book, I was convinced of the value of the story. As we researched the book further, we discovered the other three books, and that all four books were not in print anymore. With that, we went to work to see that these fine stories were republished and again made available.
